Our mission is to inspire learners of all ages and backgrounds to create, experiment, explore, and have fun through events that celebrate science, technology, engineering, and math throughout Greater Los Angeles.
City of STEM highlights Los Angeles’ rich historical leadership in science, technology, engineering, and math. City of STEM events provide access to young people across Los Angeles to expand their knowledge of STEM, continuing the tradition of innovation and achievement in Greater L.A. Through events and programs, hands-on learning, and high-quality experiences, we champion student passion, college to career pathways, and lifelong learning, strengthening the region’s position as a world leader in STEM.
Everyone is invited. Most activities and programs are free. You won’t have to travel far. Chase your curiosity to a local library or science club, join an area college or university event, or take in a special program at a participating museum.
