Bill Nye, scientist, engineer, comedian, author, and inventor, is a man with a mission: to help foster a scientifically literate society, to help people everywhere understand and appreciate the science that makes our world work. Making science entertaining and accessible is something Bill has been doing most of his life.
Music Notes is an educational music company founded by Jimmy Pascascio and LaMar Queen, two middle school teachers in South Central Los Angeles. Our goal is to increase student engagement in school by providing high quality educational music and videos to educators and their students.
The Amoeba People
The Amoeba People are musical ambassadors from the Planet Crouton (located in the Ensalada Star System). They have come to Earth to learn about your world, to explore the wonders of its natural history, to study the life which inhabits it, and to parse the mysteries of the human species by learning its dance moves.
MR. MOSLEY – Engineer
Plays bass, keyboards, kazoo, vocoder, slide whistle, pop gun and bells. Fantastic whistler, even better dancer.
MR. JORDAN – Navigator
Plays drums, percussion, bells, thunder maker, castanets, kazoo, out-of-tune autoharp, xylophone, and tin cans. Also sings and dances with reckless abandon.
MR. HEDGPETH – Captain
Plays guitar, bells, theremin, banjo, electronic gizmos, kazoo and keyboards. He sings and even dances when the moment is right.
Jason Latimer of Impossible Science
Jason Latimer is a world champion magician, curator of the iconic Fleet Science Center, and co-host of the Science Channel series SciJinks. Latimer is unites magic & science to inspire curiosity and demonstrate how the right question changes everything.
From bending light to shaping water, his illusions are featured globally on Television Specials, Series, Live Shows, STEM labs, & science festivals and have sparked millions of minds to think outside of the box by embracing their ability to wonder.
World Space Foundation
He has applied this experience to become a leader in science research, education, and workforce issues, known for his abilities to communicate complex concepts in exciting and expressive ways to wide-ranging audiences.
As President of the World Space Foundation, he develops collaborative projects and directs teacher mentorships, inquiry science expeditions, and action science theatre productions.
Dr. Shope coordinated science education and public outreach programs for various flight projects at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL); developed curriculum for flight projects; created science highlights for NASA Headquarters; and served as Principal Investigator for NASA-funded education and public outreach projects.
