MākMō: Bee Hotels

  • Manhattan Beach Library 1320 Highland Avenue Manhattan Beach, CA, 90266 United States (map)

Unlike honey bees that live in large hives, mason bees live alone, and need places to shelter and lay their eggs. They also pollinate more plants than honey bees do, and are less likely to sting you! So become a friend to these helpful bees, and learn to build a bee hotel for your garden.

Suitable for ages 5 to 12.
