During April, Kidspace's Imagination Workshop will take on an engineering challenge of Making it Float. Using the design process guests need to think of innovative ways in which to create something that floats, whether it be in water, in air, on a solid surface!
Imagination Workshop is a maker space for children of all ages to assemble, dismantle, and re-purpose all manner of materials and objects. Whether it’s a toy or radio, electronic or mechanical device, new object or old, this resource presents children with limitless opportunities to discover the inner workings of everyday objects, as well as the principles that make them work.
This challenge will extend over the entire month of April. On Tuesdays the Imagination Workshop transforms into the IW Robotics Lab! Join us to build, program and test a robot of your design. IW Robotics Lab is suggested for children ages 6 and up and takes at least 30 to 40 minutes to complete a small project
